The ideal nursing school candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work under pressure, and be compassionate.  Each applicant is considered in relation to past professional and educational experiences. An application,  non-refundable money order and all required documents must be submitted in the same envelope by the deadline dates:

March 29, 2013 - Day Program starting Fall Semester (August) 2013

September 5, 2013 - Evening/Saturday Program starting Spring Semester (January) 2014

Application Requirements (submit the following)

1. Non-refundable application fee of $40.00 (payable by money order only)
2. Official High School transcript. An average of 85 or higher is required if college course work is not evident
3. GED Diploma w/scores, if applicable
4. Official college transcripts from all colleges and nursing schools attended
5. If educated abroad, High School and/or College transcripts evaluated by World Education Services or Globe Language Services
6. Successful completion of High School or College Chemistry course with lab (non remedial)
7. Proof of registration if required course/s are in progress at the time of application
8. Letter of recommendation
9. Proof of U.S. Citizenship (copy of birth certificate, passport or certificate of naturalization) or U.S. Permanent Resident a.k.a. "Green Card" (copy of the front and back of the card)

Applicant Requirements

1. Satisfactory scores on Entrance Exam: Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS). Qualified applicants will receive an invitation to test
2. Acceptable legibility of handwriting
3. Ability to meet the cognitive and physical program demands (see School Catalog for description)
